In addition to being an opportunity to apply Avocado Tree’s quick and fresh model to pizza, it’s also been a way for Maric to experiment with his favorite bread, sourdough, which he’s managed to form into an Italian-style base. But it’s not just about the crust – the pizzas are often topped with less common ingredients like pistachio, and their freshness is as apparent to the eye as it is to the mouth, particularly with meats like the deli ham.
