DIMAPUR The youth department of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) hosted a two-day youth board meeting and skill-up training on March 22 and 23 at NBCC headquarters in Kohima. An update from NBCC youth department informed that the event was attended by youth leaders, who were enlightened on various topics to disciple and build up young people through sports and Bible teachings. It stated that an initiative called ‘Sport and Scripture Engagement’ was launched by Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, NBCC general secretary, under the leadership of Rev. N Suhuto Chishi, youth secretary, and Dr. Viposa Kiso, convener. Besides, it stated that leaders at the event were enlightened by speakers on various topics. (EMN): The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Nagaland Branch, on Monday donated 468 BP instruments to the Health & Family Welfare department, as part of its corporate social responsibility. Chairperson of CII Nagaland State Council and CEO Faith Hospital, Dimapur, Hokhuli Sema handed over the BP machines to principal director of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. K Vikato Kinimi, under CII’s relief and rehabilitation interventions during a function held at the IDSP conference hall. In her address, Hokhuli Sema said the BP machines are to be used in Nagaland government health care centers. She said that CII had chalked out a national movement for mainstreaming CSR for sustained inclusiveness as part of its social development agenda.
