(EMN): The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Nagaland Branch, on Monday donated 468 BP instruments to the Health & Family Welfare department, as part of its corporate social responsibility. Chairperson of CII Nagaland State Council and CEO Faith Hospital, Dimapur, Hokhuli Sema handed over the BP machines to principal director of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. K Vikato Kinimi, under CII’s relief and rehabilitation interventions during a function held at the IDSP conference hall. In her address, Hokhuli Sema said the BP machines are to be used in Nagaland government health care centers. She said that CII had chalked out a national movement for mainstreaming CSR for sustained inclusiveness as part of its social development agenda. She also informed that the CII national committee on corporate social responsibility and community development was constituted in 2001 to make CSR an actionable agenda.
