Dimapur, June 4 (EMN): A total of 110 students performed at the High School Spring Concert organised by Patkai High School at Bundrock Auditorium in Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) on June 4. An update issued on June 4 informed that the students of different age categories were led by music department, PHS teachers, Louise Shishak, Aosenla Jamir and Ado Sono. On the day, students of class A to 2 drew the attention of the crowd who performed the song ‘You Raise me up’. Patkai High School Ensemble with their unique blend of instrumental sound presented simple music with all age groups working together, performing blues harmonies and a traditional English melody. The music club of class 3-10 presented ‘The Runaway’ by Joe E. Parks, the update informed. Our ReporterDimapur, May 30 (EMN): Margaret Anne Shishak, co-founder of Patkai Christain College (PCC) was laid to rest on Monday, at Patkai Christian College campus, after she breathed her last on May 27. She was 80 years old and is survived by her husband, Rev. Tuisem A Shishak, three sons, three daughter-in-laws and four grandchildren. Margaret was born on November 25, 1941 in Washington, DC, USA, and married Rev. Tuisem A Shishak on August 1970. In 1973, Margaret and Tuisem moved to Nagaland, and in August 1974, the first liberal arts college in the region, PCC was founded. Margaret served as the music director of the college from inception till her last breath. During her funeral service held at Bundrock Auditorium, PCC, condolences messages were delivered by representatives from Board of Trustees, principal PCC, donor villages, Alumni Association PCC, first batch of music vocational students, Tangkhul Baptist Churches Associations, Tangkhul Hoho and former principal of PCC
