NEW DELHI: In view of a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (postgraduate), which was scheduled to be held on April 18, has been postponed, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said on Thursday.. In light of the surge in #COVID19 cases, GoI has decided to postpone #NEETPG2021 exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on Apr 18. Next date to be decided later. Decision has been taken keeping wellbeing of our young medical students in mind, he said in a tweet.
NEET PG 2021: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will commence the online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG 2021) on its official website today. The NEET PG registration link will be activated at 3 pm, and the last date to submit online applications for NEET PG 2021 is March 15, 2021. NBE had earlier released the examination dates for NEET PG 2021, NEET MDS 2021. According to the official notification, the NBE will conduct NEET PG 2021 examination on April 18, 2021. Students appearing for NEET PG 2021 exam can visit the official website of NBE on nbe.edu.in for NEET exam details.

NEET 2021: Suspense over medical entrance exam date, twin chances to end soon. Here s what NTA said
The prevailing suspense over the conduct of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and the possibility of twin chances for students, is going to end soon. As students await the announcement of the date for the prestigious medical entrance examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for conducting NEET, has said that the exam date will be announced soon.Â

India TV Digital, NTA Director-General Vineet Joshi said that the premier organization is in active consultation with the Health Ministry on both aspects. Last month, Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had said that the ministry was exploring the possibility of conducting the exam twice a year in the interest of students.
