K Naganna Gowda, chairperson of the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KSCPCR), said he had received complaints from parents. He warned that inadequate holidays could diminish students’ interest in learning and announced plans to issue notices to schools.
Parents say the chaos at some exam centres is due to lack of training for the staff on-ground regarding the dress code and other dos and don’ts to be followed for the NEET-UG.
"There's a pressing need to regulate private medical colleges, keeping their fees in line with government institutions," says national co-convenor of Jan Swasthya Abhiyan Dr Shukla.
Though her initial attempt in 2019 fell short of satisfaction, Charul persisted. In NEET 2020, she not only redeemed herself but emerged as one of the top scorers with an outstanding 680 out of 720.
