ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Thursday (May 6, 2021) is a day to honor those who serve in the medical field.
It’s National Nurses’ Day, the start of National Nurses’ Week, and more than a year of being among those on the front lines of the COVID 19 outbreak, Chief Nursing Officer Linda Schaltz of Spectrum Health-Zeeland Community Hospital and her colleagues have had to be flexible and durable.

Chipotle wants to express its gratitude to health care workers with a delicious treat.
On Wednesday, the fast-casual restaurant announced that it will be giving away 250,000 free burritos to health care heroes.
Starting Thursday at 1 p.m. EST, health care workers can sign up to receive a burrito and food will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
