New research from Ipsos MRBI found over three quarters of the Irish population are still listening to the radio in the car or at home. The study shows 3.2 million people in total continue to listen to the radio daily.  Just 8 percent are listening through a digital device, whether it s a phone, a computer or a smart speaker. Digital listening is most prominent in 15 to 24 year olds at 16 percent. While 1 in 5 adults have downloaded a radio station app on their smartphone.
