Were proposing to maintaining the zoning especially north of the freeway, where the c3 or mixeduse neighborhoods that are already successful. What we have south of the freeway are industrial zoning that doesnt allow residential uses, it doesnt allow office uses. We spent a lot of time in San Francisco in the last ten years to create protection areas further to the south where these uses can thrive, but it doesnt necessarily make sense of millions of dollars of the transportation infrastructure being built to have industrial neighborhoods that have very low density and while industry is still important to San Francisco, its not the driver of the economy in the future.
