As the dates for board exams of the several state boards along with CBSE and CISCE out, students are now preparing for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams.
Many exams were postponed and bords cancelled few papers due to the COVID-19 pandemic and followed lockdown in 2020. This year also, although the exam schedules are out, many boards are making changes in the final schedule.
In addition to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the CISCE and several states including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan have declared the timetable and dates for the class 10 and class 12 board exams which are slated to be held in 2021.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has announced that TN Board Exam 2021 for Class 10 and Class 11 has been cancelled in the state for this year. Tamil Nadu SSLC, HSE+1 Exam students would be promoted to their next class without examination. Also, class 9 annual exams have been cancelled.
The decision to cancel the exams was taken after receiving inputs from medical experts who suggested the situation is not conducive to conduct the SSLC and plus one exam, said the TN Chief Minister.

Virudhunagar (Tamil Nadu) [India], February 26 (ANI): A fire broke out at a firecracker factory in the Pethalupatti area of Virudhunagar district on Thursday night.

Earlier on Thursday evening, six people died in a fire accident at a firecracker factory near Sivakasi, confirmed Joint Director of Health Services, Virudhunagar.
On February 12, a fire had broken out at a firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu s Virudhunagar. Following this incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami had announced an ex-gratia to the kin of those who lost their lives in the incident.

New Delhi [India], February 18 (ANI): The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Thursday constituted an eight-member committee, headed by a former high court judge, to submit a report on the Virudhunagar fire incident last week.
