Steady rain, heavier rain around union city, fremont as you will notice 880. So it is going to be tough getting around the south bay from sunnyvale, san jose into the santa cruz mountains. Also seeing steady rain, lighter showers in the north bay right now as we widen the picture here, this is a cold and potent level one storm. Right now were just getting the front arriving into our area, but we are seeing lightning strikes right along the Northern California coast, and its not out of the question for us to see some as well. So later on tonight, were still looking at those scattered showers as we head towards tomorrow morning. Some downpours expected at 5 a. M. 930. The commute is going to be a little bit tough. 5 p. M. Where you are. North bay has gotten significant rain accumulations. The rest of us, its anywhere from it seems like a lot because it just keeps coming. Its just constant kind of heavy drizzle, heavy mist. Its equating to, for most of us, a 10th of an inch or just a little more. But in the north bay you see that kentfield number, which is not the kentfield north bay. They do get the rain like a rain magnet up there, so theyre up over a half inch of rain. But you see the rain totals and the definite the disparity in different places around the bay. The wind advisory is in effect. Thats going to stay in effect for a while into the east of us. A blizzard warning. Lets take a look at the rain where it is now. Of course, its the afternoon commute. Here we are, and its raining and its coming down the heaviest rain. I think of the evening has already moved through oakland and san mateo. You see this sort of line of showers, the yellows, the darker greens, so that is basically on the way out. B
