Only one of all the deceased who lost their lives in the huge dynamite blast at a Railway crusher site in Karnataka s Shivamogga on late Thursday night has been identified. The deceased was believed to be from Andhra Pradesh. I talked to HM Karnataka Basavraj Bommai regarding 6 death in Shimoga dynamite blast. Till now only 1 body identified which is from AP. Till now other bodies has not been identified. Very sad incident. RIP, Rajya Sabha member Sushil Modi said in a tweet.

Shivamogga: At least six people were killed in an explosion in central Karnataka s Shivamogga district late on Thursday. The explosion occurred when a lorry carrying gelatin sticks and a huge cache of dynamites exploded near a stone quarry at around 10:20 pm.A senior police officer of Davanagere range S Ravi told the media that the entire area has been sealed. He further informed that bomb disposal squads were called to the area from Mangaluru and Bengaluru.

Governor Vajubhai Vala, on the advice of the Chief Minister, gave his assent to the list of allocation and reallocation.
