Tracy griffin vividly remembers the day her mother gladys brought her to San Francisco city hall and marched up the stairs, looking for thenthey are feinstein. My mom was asking them, where was dianne . Saying final goodbye, tracy wrote a letter on behalf of her mother. Her assistance in helping my mother rest in peace. On the afternoon edition, it is a first alert weather day. Its heating up around the bay area. We are under a heat advisory. Well get to that in a minute. Good after noon. I am elizabeth cook. I am ryan yamamoto. We are one hour from the service for Dianne Feinstein. The late senator will be remembered for a political career that began in this very building. It was a career of many firsts and one that took her to washington, dc. We are expecting a whos who of state and National Leaders to attend. Buses boarding outside of u. S. Capitol, they have arrived in the bay area to attend the service, show of support for a Senate Colleague who many served with since feinstein was sworn in in 1993. The area around city hall is under tight security. Initially the Memorial Service was going to be open to the public, partly because of the all the dignitaries it was made a private event last night. There is a perimeter around city hall that will keep people far back to see or hear the actual service
