Mumbai: A night curfew will remain in place in Mumbai between 11 pm to 6 am on the New Year s eve. Mumbai Police will be keeping a strict watch on night parties in restaurants, pubs, bars and beaches with the help of drones. In absence of breath analysers due to COVID-19, the police may also collect blood samples of individuals to keep a check on drunken driving. Night curfew will remain in place from 11 pm today to 6 am tomorrow. Section 144 to remain imposed prohibiting gathering of five or more persons. No parties allowed in restaurants, pubs, bars, beaches, rooftops and boats. We ll keep watch using drones, S Chaitanya, Mumbai Police spokesperson said.
