SIU arrest three ‘PSL bookies’
Gambling articles and drugs found in their possession says SSP

The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) police claimed to have arrested three bookies on Sunday.
According to SIU SSP Captain (Retd) Haider Raza, the SIU conducted a raid in Precinct 11, Bahria Town on a tip-off. Suspects Muhammad Altaf alias Bhoot alias Bhoor Bhandar, Sabir and Farhan were arrested and gambling articles and drugs were found in their possession, said the SSP.
Raza said that the apprehended suspects have confessed to their crime. The suspects told the police that they were gambling on PSL matches when the raid happened and that they had developed a special software for the purpose – ‘BetFair,’ which was being operated from Lahore, according to Raza. The SSP added that the arrested suspected had links with international bookies and gamblers.

JAMMU, Feb 19: Three police personnel were martyred in two separate shootouts while an equal number of militants were killed across Kashmir and police arrested three persons allegedly involved in the attack on the son of the owner of a famous eatery.
Militants today martyred two police men who were on duty in Baghat area of Srinagar. The two cops were outside a shop while another was inside when militants fired at them. Both the cops who were unarmed were critically injured in the attack.
The CCTV footage of the shootout shared by police shows a lone militant appearing at the spot hiding his AK-47 rifle under gown (Pheran). The militant suddenly fires at the cops who are standing at a shop front leaving them in a pool of blood. The attack causes panic and people are seen fleeing from the spot and so is the militant.
