The city council runoff election in Districts 3 and 7 in Phoenix is happening Tuesday, March 9, here is the information about the upcoming election.
The District 7 race for outgoing Councilmember Michael Nowakowski’s spot is between Cinthia Estela and Yassamin Ansari. The race in District 3 is between incumbent Councilmember Debra Stark and Nicole Garcia.
District 7 covers downtown Phoenix westward and District 3 covers North Phoenix.
According to her website, Ansari’s key issues are COVID-19 recovery, affordable housing, creating jobs, and climate issues.
Estela’s key issues include building a more complete community, providing safety for all and infrastructure, according to her website.
