First responders say they haven t confirmed yet if she jumped or fell. When we arrived they had just spotted her head bobbing in the water. Frozen pipes have been a problem plaguing granite staters over the last few days and now officials are warning people to call a professional to deal with the problem. Mike cronin has the details. Reporter tom, the chief says it was hard to put out this fire on will will street because firefighters had to fight it through four ceilings, including a concrete roof. Firefighters say that the owner of Abbott Machine Company saw he had frozen pipes in his bathroom and tried to thaw them ought with an electric heat gun, but that caused the fire. The buildings insulation caught fire and it spread to the roof. Crews had it under control within about two hours. The chief cautions people to be recareful in these types of situations. Anselm reported to the Health Center with lowgrade fever and swollen salivary glands. Doctors tested the hockey team and found two other players have the monks mumps and three are showing symptoms. All of those cases are described as mild. While nearly all College Students are vaccinated for mumps the vaccine is only 88 effective, so it s still possible to get sick. While it s possible there will be additional cases, the academic calendar is helping to stymie the spread of the virus. Incubation is 25 days, so we are in that window. O
