Rain and snow will make a dramatic return to the Southland overnight, with precipitation expected to start after midnight and continue into Thursday, potentially dropping several inches of rain and bringing a few feet of snow to the mountains.

ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST (CNS) - A brush fire sparked by a burning vehicle that scorched about 50 acres in the Angeles National Forest was 35% contained today, officials said.
The Antonio Fire was reported to be burning in about a half-acre of medium brush just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Glendora Ridge Road and Mount Baldy Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire quickly traveled uphill and was reported to be at about 10 acres by 2:40 p.m., causing the closure of Mount Baldy Road and the Claremont Wilderness Park
