He wanted to stay with both families by their side throughout the entire afternoon. That was his priority. As we move forward to the day and into the evening he is going to come back up the mountain and meet with his team here and do some other things to really take care of each other. Poundland has released Chris the Caterpillar - a chocolate-covered bug cake priced at £4.50 - precisely half that of M&S classic Colin the Caterpillar, which sells at £9.
From Aldi s Cuthbert to Tesco s Curly, most British supermarkets have their own version of a caterpillar cake.
The original, Marks & Spencer s Colin Cake - who turned 30 last year - has been a staple at British birthday parties for years, with similar cakes gaining in popularity in recent years.
M&S lodged an intellectual property claim with the High Court last week, arguing the similarity of Aldi s product -the £4.99 Cutherbert Cake - leads consumers to believe they are of the same standard and ride on the coat-tails of M&S reputation with the product.
But Aldi is by no means the only supermarket offering a rival caterpillar-shaped treat with all the big names selling a variation on the classic.
