Pine middle school is facing some Serious Problems after a pipe burst about two weeks ago. Chris weve had to go in and replace all the tile floor, all the carpet in all the classrooms. 95 percent of the first floor is damaged. That includes the band room. And a few lockers. Personal items had to be removed and bagged to clean up the asbestos. Chris we take them off site, we put them in a climatized area, apply heat to them, make sure theyre useful. It was apparently used earlier this term in a discussion of slavery in a us history course at dayton high school. And, recently it showed up on the final exam. Brian nelson says he learned of it when he asked his 17 year old son about his final grade. Nelson he said there were some pretty disturbing images on the final that he felt pretty strongly about and he wasnt really sure how to answer them.
