DULUTH It’s a tale as old as the pandemic: A musician had plans to record an album in mid-March 2020 one of those all-immersive sessions at a sleepover studio. Then plans were scrapped a few days in advance because COVID-19, of course.
“We were all set; we had our songs,” said Breanne Tepler, the singer-songwriter who fronts Duluth s Breanne Marie and the Front Porch Sinners.

Third annual Escape the Bong, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. today, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 14, 305 E. Second St., Superior. This three day event features four escape rooms to test your puzzle solving skills. Each room is designed for an hour of fun along with a unique mission and experience. A new game begins every 90 minutes. A maximum of 10 people allowed in each room at a time with only players known to each other in a room together; we will not combine multiple groups together to fill a room. The new concert series is called Live from the Mitchell. This first of the series will take place on Saturday, February 13, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., featuring the acoustic ska duo Woodblind.
Woodblind is made up of Jason Wussow and Viekko Lepisto from Duluth. The concert will feature the duo along with guest musicians featured on their newest album, which was released this past summer.
