You can see the line of thunderstorms that is moving toward the beltway on doppler 9000. Severe thunderstorms already rolled through the hagerstown area. Look at how the lightning strikes have really diminished, though, in the past hour. We have practically no lightning strikes anymore. Thats a good indication that that particular thunderstorm cell is losing its energy. I think thats the reason also that the Severe Thunderstorm Warning was not extended for that particular thunderstorm cell. Everything is moving at about 20 to 25 miles per hour.
