Rescue crews have saved the lives of at least 7,000 people an their pets. Since thursday parts of louisiana have been hit with more than 30 inches of rain. Now to our big story this morning. Another night of unrest in milwaukee after a Police Officer shot and killed a man after he fled during a traffic stop. That shooting sparking protests and violence on the citys north i of Police Officers stopped two people near 44th and auer. That led to a foot chase which ended when an officer shot one of the two who was armed with a handgun according to officials. Police say that 23yearold Sylville Smith was shot twice once in the arm, and also in the chest. Smith died on scene. The officer was placed on administrative duty. Later in the evening a group of protesters angry about the shooting. Started looting businesses. And setting fires. Saturday night. This prompted Governor Scott walker to activate the National Guard.
