According to a report, two men knocked the boxes out of pellers hands as he walked down the steps and then took off. 23yearveteran of the postal service, chased after the two men. He screamed at them to stop, saying it was a federal crime to steal the mail. Eventually one of the suspects, Daryl Walters was arrested. He appeared in Court Last Week on this offense. Offense. Walters is being held until his next Court Appearance which happens next wednesday. Milwaukee police tell me they are looking for that second suspect and are investigating what police in west salem thought was a freak accident. Turned out to be a homicide. 46yearold Todd Kendhammer is now facing homicide charges after he allegedly lied about his wife died. Back in september police were called to an accident on a rural wisconsin road. They found a woman dead in the passenger seat. Her husband, Todd Kendhammer said a metal pipe had fallen off a passing truck, bounced off the road and came through their windshield killing his wife. Investigation. Police dont beleieve thats what really happened. The windshield appears to have been struck more than one time and the defendents statements about how it happend, the complaint talks about the autopsy and how injuries werent consistent with a single pipe coming thorugh the windshield. Windshield. Investigators say there were sevearl other red flags. They found that no one had actually been seated in the front passenger seat when the windshield was damaged. We examined the remains and one of the things we noted that there was a lack of any dental work on the teeth and the bones appeared to be very old and brittle, no clothing or artifacts accompanied them.
