To who is behind it and why. Good evening, im j. R stone. Police say this investigation is centered around at least four different locations in the town of petaluma. More than 30 cars were broken into from last night into early this morning, with a variety of different personal items stolen tonight. Abc seven News Reporter ryan curry is in petaluma, where neighbors are concerned. Shards of glass all over the pavement. Its all that remains after someone broke into a car here at the petaluma outlets. But according to police, this was not the only one. Its actually one of over 30 breakins from saturday night. It seems like its a normal thing around here. Darian mendoza knows the frustrating feeling too well. Hes once seen pieces of glass beneath his car. My car got broken into. Two of my windows were busted. Luckily his car is now fine, but when he saw the glass in the parking lot sunday, he felt immediately sorry for the owners of those cars. Jewish students at cal, along with supporters from the community, gathered in front of zellerbach hall. Many of them dressed in white. All were asking of the administration is that they enforce their own policies and make sure that jewish students feel like they can walk through the gates to campus every day and feel welcome, and have equal rights to free speech. The gate is still blocked in violation of school policies. For weeks, justice for palestine supporters have blocked the middle section of sather gate with yellow tape. Today, the university took it down and instead a massive banner was put up. We found an alternative that would not be taken down immediately. Uc berkeley did not remove it. The banner is up, it too represents a violation of what are called time, place and manner rules. But we assess that using Law Enforcement to clear it would create turmoil.
