Royal Carriages, a New Orleans tourism icon and the nation’s oldest carriage company, has expanded to Louisiana’s Northshore. The 80-year-old company, best known for its mule-drawn historical tours in New Orleans’ French Quarter and Marigny neighborhoods, is now offering sightseeing tours in Covington’s Downtown Historic District.
“Covington’s rich history, beautiful architecture and laid back vibes make it an ideal destination partner for Royal Carriages,” says Royal Carriages Director of Marketing Kimmie Carlos. “We are thrilled to bring a favorite New Orleans tradition to Covington, and we hope all of Louisiana’s Northshore will come experience history with us in a new and exciting way.”

AmaWaterways Announces Longest River Cruise Ever

AmaWaterways has announced the longest-ever river cruise itinerary its new Seven River Journey Through Europe.
The 46-night experience will take passengers through 14 countries on four of the line’s luxury river ships. The itinerary was specially curated by the company’s president and “Godfather of River Cruising,” Rudi Schreiner.
The special voyage sets sail on June 1, 2023.

Coast Capture Air started bottling fresh air and later selling it as a souvenir but while it might seem like a shameless cash grab, they claim they are using it as a talking point about the importance of clean air in the modern era.
