Well the road crews are going on here and that was involved, one of the road crews might have been involved, at least some of their equipment was. Southbound 87 which had the freeway kpreetly closed. It has reopened about 3 30 after four hours of closure. Apparently one vehicle hit another piece of equipment there and splattered oil across the roadway. That was cleaned up. In dallas last night, we did notice San Francisco Police Officers took special precautions, including placing police spotters on rooftops. Hundreds of demonstrators arrived at city hall to protest Police Violence against black people. This was a group that was loud. San francisco deputies prepared by cordoning off the entrance to city hall. The protest was in response to two high profile officerinvolved shooting this week. Alton sterling was killed in bat touj, louisiana tuesday. Philando castile was killed in st. Paul. He was pulled over for a broken taillight. This is still going on and we havent gotten to a point where we can love and respect each other no matter what color or sexual orientation. All lives do matter. But at the end of the day, it seems like black people are being killed more than other races. Cops are hurting people. We have to work first with our Justice System. New at 6 00, a local Department Takes a step forward on a national issue. Good evening. Today, the San Jose Police department began issuing body cameras to all of its Police Officers. Chris nguyen is live now with the story. Chris . Reporter its a milestone more than two years in the making. The chief called it a significant step, one that he hopes will improve relationships in the community. Tonight, San Jose Police will send out a first wave of Police Officers equipped with body cameras. When individuals make contact with the police, and their perception of what occurred differs from what the Police Department says that occurs, were going to know what actually is the truth.
