Mudslides started around three hours ago after a sudden, powerful thunderstorm dumped upwards of 4 to 5 inches of rain in the area. We have video showing a wall of mud shah washed out roads, and homes, properties have been covered and in cases several feet of mud. Drivers stuck, look at the white car, you cant see it, have been rescued by others but the cars are immobilized by the damage. Caltrans closed a busy interstate 5 through the grapevine because of the mud out of the freeway there. The video was captured by driver kathy swain, waiting to be rescued.
