You can see that mangled mess of a train that we now know was going 50 miles an hour faster than it should have been. Federal investigators trying to determine what caused the Train Derailment in Washington State, that killed at least three, say, theyve recovered the event data recorder from the rear of the train. The National Transportation safety board says information so far indicate speed may have played a role. Preliminary indications are that the train was traveling at 80 Miles Per Hour in a 30 mile per hour track. This was the first trip for the new seattle to portland route. One local official seems to have predicted just few weeks ago that Something Like this would happen.
