Federal investigators trying to determine what caused the Train Derailment in Washington State, that killed at least three, say, theyve recovered the event data recorder from the rear of the train. The National Transportation safety board says information so far indicate speed may have played a role. Preliminary indications are that the train was traveling at 80 Miles Per Hour in a 30 mile per hour track. This was the first trip for the new seattle to portland route. One local official seems to have predicted just few weeks ago that Something Like this would happen. The town of lakewoods mayor don anderson had been very vocal at City Council Meeting earlier this month, warning of the dangers of utilizing freight rail tracks for a high speed Passenger Rail line. Werent concern about derailment but rather bringing a fast moving train, so close to pedestrians and cars. Thirteen of the trains 14 cars went off the tracks at an overpass, some tumbling onto interstate five. Trains train just started to seem like go off on it side, and then all the sudden ten went dark, and stuff started flying around. Police are trying to figure out what led to deadly shoot ing in philadelphias Strawberry Mansion section, officers returned to a home in the 6,000 block of west oxford street, just after 8 30 last night. Thats where they found 27 year old man shot multiple times in the homes basement, which were told was also the victims bedroom. Investigators tell us the vick tells family made the grim discovery. Family members were upstairs on the first floor when they heard gunshots coming from the basement. When they went downstairs to check on their family member, thats when they found him, bleeding from the chest and torso, and he was completely unresponsive. Officials rushed the victim to the hospital where he died, and we did just check in with homicide detectives and so far no arrests.
