The homeowner managed to get out without being injured. All of this happened on river court not far from coyote creek. Our reporter is there with more information. We got new information from the Sheriffs Office within the hour. The suspect had originally led police on a foot chase after they spotted him in a stolen car, firefighters are still on scene, checking for spot shot, showing a large plume of smoke over the neighborhood. He was worried that his own house was going to catch on fire. Moments later he heard a loud bang. He had been looking for a suspect and a helicopter over was telling residents to get inside and lock their doors. This all happened before 6 00 this evening when firefighters got there, they say the home was engulfed in flames. We were able to find one person inside the home and bring him out and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. I was really surprised that one, there was a fire, and second, that the Police Department was looking for a suspect.
