That is one day before hes scheduled to be sentenced in his racketeering case. Yesterday a jury convicted fattah in racketeering case that centered on efforts to repay illegal 1 Million Campaign loan. The 59yearold democrat has been in Congress Since 1995 but in april he lost his primary bid for another term. Republicans want fattah out of office immediately. Speaker of the house paul ryan released this statement tonight quote mr. Fattah has be trade the trust this institution and the people of pennsylvania and for that he should resign immediately from the house of representatives.
