McCann wins Just Eat Takeaway com Group pitch to retain local Menulog business

March 17 2021, 4:03 pm | BY Ricki Green | No Comments Online food delivery marketplace Just Eat Takeaway.com, which operates Menulog in Australia and New Zealand, has retained McCann Worldgroup as lead global creative agency, after the incumbent brought the heat to a four-way pitch with Adam & Eve/DDB, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and TBWA\London.   Following a number of successful global and local Australian campaigns, the increasingly favoured delivery brand reported a 104% YOY order growth across ANZ, with 166% YOY growth in Q4. Menulog and Macca s launch new ad, despite Just Eats creative review

February 17, 2021 2:49 Menulog has announced its delivery partnership with McDonald’s will continue into 2021 with a delivery driver and McDonald’s employee hitting the streets of Sydney in a signature-orange low-rider. The ad, created by McCann, is reminiscent of the 2001 music video for Still DRE by Dr Dre and featuring Snoop Dogg. The new ads continue the use of Menulog’s jingle fashioned by Snoop Dogg which launched last year, tying in with the inspiration for the spot.   ADVERTISEMENT The campaign launched on 16 February with both the 30 second TVC and a 15 second cutdown. Activations will also include out-of-home sport and and social media integration.
