The huge food and cultural market opened its doors to the public on April 7

It’s official: Time Out Market Dubai is open for business!
As of today, visitors can sample the best of the city’s culinary talent and culture under one roof, with a line-up of top chefs carefully curated by Time Out Dubai editors. The market is in a prime spot in Downtown Dubai’s Souk Al Bahar and offers incredible views from its outdoor terrace over the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain.
Last night we held an opening party for VIP guests, with four artists from art institute Tashkeel creating live pieces around drinkers and diners. And there was just as much to see outside, as the neighbouring Burj – the world’s tallest building, FYI – lit up with projections of Time Out’s logo and previous magazine covers.

A new food hall packed with homegrown venues to open in Downtown Dubai
… and yes, we’re really excited about it…
The promise of a modern food hall should be a wildly intriguing offer for anyone who loves good food and general convenience. Basically: a tonne of great stuff to eat, all in one place.
When Time Out Market opens in early April, it should instantly inject some much-needed life into the Downtown lunch scene that has always felt a bit short on fantastic non-chain options. Now, they – as well as nearby residents and tourists – have 43,000 square feet of standout local and international flavour at their disposal.
