police believe they had been at a d.c. club earlier in the night and say a car of friends was following them and witnessed the accident, then called 911 and called family. the girl s family and friends were out here for several hours before finding out one of the victims was 19-year-old tamara johnson. we spoke with tamara s uncle just before he heard the awful news. my sister called me crying and said i should come out here because tamara was in an accident. so i should come out and, you know, so i just jumped up, put my close on and rushed out here. when you look at the scene, what do you think? that s an accident right there. we have no idea right now if alcohol or speed were a factor. it s currently under investigation. now, again, the lanes that take you north were opened. at this point, the lanes that head south were still shutdown. a tow truck was out here at the scene. they are beginning that process soon. a terrible accident and just horrible morning for th
