Schools must follow if they apply for a waiver to reopen. California is also releasing new guidelines for youth sports. Kron 4 Sarah Stinson has it all shes in San Francisco. If that school like the one behind me Sherman School in San Francisco is in a county such as San Francisco that is on the governors watch list. Then they may they need to jump through a few more hoops they need to talk to parents need to talk to the community and then to see if this is truly a good idea and then after that while theyre filling out the waiver theres a lot they need to do take a look at your school you can see the requirements while filling out the waiver to reopen Elementary Schools, you can see theyre going to have to make sure they develop plans for health screenings. Today people will be gathering to remember those who were killed in the gilroy garlic festival mass shooting. It happened one year ago today. The event called rising together will honor victims and heroes, its being held exactly one year after a 19 yearold man used an Assault Rifle to fire into the festivals crowd. 3 people were killed including a 6 yearold boy 19 other people were injured before Gilroy Police officer shot the gunman.
