Complex fire thats burning in san mateo and Santa Cruz County check out this video. This is video from yesterday this was up from a tweet from cal fire and it shows the flames there in the senate accused santa cruz mountains. And lets take a look at the video of the aftermath this is before and after now the Boulder Creek area. You can see just the destruction here is homes reduced to rubble as the flames continue to burn right across the roads along the roads going through the mountains in the area wow and that this map here shows exactly where that fire is burning this morning check it out you can see that little out line of the fire thats burning right along highway one and highway 9 in Boulder Creek. Kron fours reyna harvey live at the Cal Fire Command Center thats in Scotts Valley, she has the latest for us this morning, marty robbing the morning and like you just show the viewers at home devastating images coming out here that Scotts Valley like you mentioned the command post theyre going to. It was a press update at about 6 oclock this morning. So well be bringing that to you live. But again we want to show you the devastation and ripped through this Community Overnight take a look at this. This is what the firefighters were up against as the fire now doubles in size at 25,000 acres, we know they still have any containment on the fire. We know that several firefighters have been injured trying to get this fire out the number of structures currently threatened has also gone up were now over 8 1000 we had 20 structures destroyed. Take a look at this house is it goes up in flames, you can see that here. We talked to several people who were forced to leave their homes is truly devastating take a listen. I would say im worried im certainly worried. That that its going to get down here in the valley with an underage kids, the value mark says everybody and all the houses are gone for sure. But i dont think thats going happen. I think the firefighters are doing their job theyre going to contain it. And its out of prudence that are getting everybody out of here before the fire gets down here. So theres not a mass exodus that actually causes a bigger problem. Right so again, its still very difficult to breathe out here in the ash continues to fall from the sky i talked to Law Enforcement behind me here in scott valley. And yesterday they allow media to be beyond that line i asked them want to head a blocked off this morning. They said because they are bringing in more agencies to help in this effort for now reporting here in Scotts Valley made a harvey kron 4 news all right, thank you right now we have the wrong map up well get the right one up for you coming up a little bit later. Of the l in new lightning complex fires also affecting Sonoma County. And this is a look at some earlier video is actually from wednesday of the walker fire thats burning west of kills from here the russian river. You can see the flames and it has crowned prince of 14,000 acres acres and is still not contained this morning. And now we want to show you the l a new complex fire thats burning in the north part of the bay. You can see that the areas impacted on the map by that red line that fire has really grown so flames right now burning in napa sonoma and solano counties and so far the flames have scorched more than 124,000 acres. 0 containment this morning. And the fires tripled in size since just wednesday morning. All told 4 people have been hurt 105 structures have been destroyed kron fours noelle bellow has the latest now from vacaville. After a 5 hour closure. I 80 finally re opened around 09 00pm wednesday night, im here at air base parkway good interstate was actually shut down from here all the way up until cherry glen road up towards the vacaville now this is all because the fire actually jumped over lanes of traffic. And forced officials to shut down the highway near the interstate on both sides. Now the flames continue to flare up through the night but then would die down many folks stopped on the overpass because they couldnt figure out just where to go there were plenty of evacuations. Anyone who was trying to take back roads were just met with complete gridlock traffic just like those who were stuck on the interstate i spoke with many folks who are from sacramento trying to make their way home and just couldnt because of the gridlock traffic and for those from vacaville who had evacuated this entire situation came as a big surprise on we went by and was soon spotted going last night no cinnabon the hills all red and but never thought it was going to come down. And the town gree side road every back road every a detour. Its just jampacked though we have been well the map and weighs been trying to think of circling around for almost an hour in fairfield and we gave up right away, you know. And who is just block out pain is nothing compared to those who have to be evacuated. Todays so yeah we. This is an eye out my and convenience for us compared to them i just hope they dont lose that many homes anymore thats the key right there. I guess. Again now these lanes of traffic have re opened many folks wondering if they may close again of course with a wildfire, we know that things can get unpredictable winds can change in a moment. So it is possible that this interstate closes again however, as for wednesday night they did reopen around 09 00pm in fairfield noelle bellow kron 4 news. Well keep in mind that evacuations are also under way at Travis Air Force base in fairfield non Mission Essential personnel and their families are evacuating the base now this is because of the fires that are burning very close to the base in fairfield and vacaville Mission Essential personnel should contact their chain of command for duty status also keep in mind that School Districts in Solano County have canceled Distance Learning for the remainder of the week. And we have continuing coverage of all the fires on our website so just head over to kron 4 dot com and make sure you download the kron 4 mobile app that way you can stay updated as youre on the go or as youre being evacuated. Its always great to have. And now we want to continue our Team Coverage with meteorologist dave spahr who is tracking the weather conditions today days. Ok good morning robin good morning, everybody we start with a red flag warning that continues to hang on to Solano County because of additional threats weve already had with the damage thats been done all over the bay, but this is because theres still some dry winds that are left over as a formality for Solano County this is being held on until 9. This morning. Now upstream were going to have winds but its going to be from a different direction well be seeing more on shore compliments of this front that stays well up towards the north still under some dominance and influence we are behind pressure that weve been talking about but that would rival bit of that onshore wind invite in a little bit more in the way humidity. Some haze to greet us this morning live shot comes in from u c berkeley there. Lets watch that humidity flow now roads away today. There we can see its quite dry in the afternoon picking those inland valleys, but then tonight look at the recovery everywhere. We dont get a whole lot Solano County kind of goes right to the delta and spills out into the sacramento valley, but at least across the bay, this is better the were looking at this morning. So it is an improvement more moisture on shore flow cooler temps everythings working in our favor Going Forward and then in the afternoon that is tomorrow afternoon well get a little drying out there but again heres the recovery by saturday morning. Temperatures thus far were at 73 for antioch meanwhile 60s cover most of the east bay 50s now up to the north bay and 62 for san jose kind of the daily forecast here 71 at 09 00am by high noon word, 85, however, this afternoon these are high temperatures were looking at look at that still in the upper 90s but at least weve retired the triple digits for now. This weekend. We may. Tiptoe into them a little bit well be checking your longerrange forecast and a bit party. All right dave thanks a lot. We can take short break but as we take a break were going to take you outside for a live look. At the smoky conditions, were looking at vacaville and you can see the haze there in the air. Well have more coverage of the fires coming up right after the break, including the lousy air quality that were having to deal with around the bay area that well be right back. Dear california. We know these are challenging times. Rest assured, you are not alone. Weve all had to adapt. And with summer here, your energy bills might go up with rising temperatures. Together, we can save energy and money. Try closing your shades during the day. Setting your ac to 78 or higher. Or cooling off with a fan when you can. United we are always stronger. Stay well, california, and keep it golden. Welcome back everyone were back with breaking news that were following for you this morning thats all the fires that are burning across the bay area of those fires are having a huge impact on the air quality well they sure are take a look at this map its from the bay area air Quality Management district. You can see just how bad the air quality in the bay area is by looking at the map now the darker the color. The worse the air quality is now you can see right over san jose where the air quality is pretty bad and then look up near vacaville as well. Besides scene and of course people around the bay area can smell the smoke as well were going to continue to keep an eye on this map and the outside skies and the air quality for you throughout the morning robin absolutely well the east bay, Regional Park does. Was all Regional Parks until further notice check out the list are this is accept first some shoreline parts. Now heres a list of the parks that are close Officials Say the extreme fire danger and the 4 air quality are just adding to park safety concerns. 85,000 acres have burned in the region so far and again the district is advising against using Regional Parks in the east bay just dont do it. Well to the north bay now that would work fire continues to burn in the Point Reyes National seashore that summer in county residents in bolinas the Bolinas Community right along the coast are under evacuation warnings from forcefully to call has more. At least 1100 acres of wild land has burned along the point raze National Seashore near the west rim county community of bolinas by wednesday afternoon marine county fire chief jason webber says his crews were struggling to reach the flames 0 contained right now webber says the woodward fire started tuesday afternoon. It may have been ignited from a Lightning Strike or began as a spot fire from another blaze that kept growing with heat and when he issued evacuation warnings. The west side of highway one south of the lima through the community of bolinas those are warnings not orders at this time. So we want people to be prepared if they do need to leave and we issue an order around 125 firefighters are responding to the fire but without air support. Because fire resources are stretched thin throughout the state we are already we have contingency plans, im got all. I pack stuff ready to go fortunately no homes have been damaged and no residents or firefighters have been injured Pay Attention to to the fired twitter feed. A sign up for the marine be ready to go because depending on the conditions the situation can go from bad to worse quickly. In the latest belief that all kron 4 news. And from the north bay we go to the east bay where 4 separate fires make up the deer zone fire youre taking a look at video wow this is from tuesday. The fire has thus far has charred 102,000 acres just look at that thick black smoke there its only 5 contained this morning. So far only to First Responders have been injured in that fire. And of course were worried about the fire danger of course, but also the air quality around the bay area days far as going to fill us in on that and the weather and were getting a little bit of a cool down a day. Yeah thats whats happening upstream here a little bit. Heres the shot from u c berkeley here we do have some haze leftover a little bit. But what we have upstream looks to be pretty good though heres a live shot of the Golden Gate Bridge as well. Now what we have helping us up is a little front up to the north here and that will provide a little bit of an onshore flow. This high is going to be waning as we go forward a little bit here. This on shore flow is going to cool us down and bring more moisture our way and improve the conditions a little bit as we head into the weekend on the weekend. We may bounce a little bit temperature wise. 60s cover a lot of the east bay 50s meanwhile up to the north bay 71 for any aac 62 meanwhile for san jose so here the players in place here as this High Pressure is starting to wane a little bit theres the front up towards the north. So we have hazy conditions leftover still plenty hot, but it will be a little bit hotter off to the central valley, were were going to get some minor relief here with this front up towards our north. You have the kind of squint to see this because today not much happens. But as we get into tonight. Its sometimes called the humidity recovery. There you can see around the bay were getting a little bit more of that marine layer knocking on our doorstep here in flooding the bay area. So its a little minor improvement and that will be by tonight and tomorrow morning, not so much into the weekend and were getting some more moisture getting up here. Early into next week. Now than other part of this you can see is from the winds now during the day we sometimes get those onshore winds at any rate because we have been let heating but this high is really kind of cut that activity off and hasnt been as active. But notice how its active in Southern Marine here into the afternoon there notice the arrow directions to as well this being on shore. So that will happen by this afternoon and for tonight tomorrow morning to greet us a little bit as well, not too much in the way of winds hanging on the winds are not necessarily something we want to see with all these problems going on, but at least it will bring in some of the marine layer when it does this 73 San Francisco, the target number oakland at 79 87 for san jose across the wider bay temperatures are still not a hot but not as hot as before any on for example checking in at 96 conquer to 96 as well 92 livermore east bay shoreline to the south in the lower 80s up in the north bay kind of a hodgepodge of 90s an 80s 87 meanwhile for san jose. Theres the greens struggling to hang on a little bit dont prove a little bit into the forecast for tomorrow but coming up a little later on well have of course the 4 zone forecast for you and check in at that extended talking a little bit more about whats going on on our monday could be high elevation showers or thundershowers at work. Robin back to you all right, thank you for the update dave coming up next on the kron 4 morning news, a historic speech from senator Kamala Harris took center stage. As she accepted the nomination for Vice President and the Democratic NationalConvention Last night well have the highlights coming up for you after the break stay with us and a look outside before we go were checking in on a very busy and crowded san mateo bridge. But at least were starting off the morning commute hot spot free well want restaurants to open . And schools . Want the economy to get back on track . Youre not alone. And you can help make it happen. Stay 6 feet apart. Wash your hands. Wear a mask every time you leave your home. Choose to join the fight against covid19. Do your part. Slow the spread. Well the breaking news. Were following just learned that a pg e employee has died while helping First Responders battle the lnu complex fire that worker was based out of vacaville we dont have any more details other than that this morning well continue to update the story with information as we get it, robin. Well, nice 3 of the Democratic National convention featured the last democratic president the last democratic president ial nominee and the woman that democrats hope will be the future Vice President nadia romero has the highlights. The night belonged to senator Kamala Harris officially accepting her partys nomination. She talked about the trail blazers who came before her and also the work that she believes still needs to be done to build a more perfect union. Now that democrats have declared their nominee the party is focused on convincing americans joe biden is the right choice. This november, donald trump hasnt grown into the job. Because he cant. And the consequences of that failure or some beer. And listing the man who think biden to be his running mate former president barack obama to carry that message. Great years, joe was the last one in the room whenever i faced a big decision. He made me a better president. Also on night 3 issues central to democratic party, including gun violence Climate ChangeImmigration Reform we are at a crossroads. We can lead to she didnt continue or we can act. The previous democratic nominee highlighting the role of women in the party tonight, im thinking of the girls and boys who see themselves in americas future because of Kamala Harris and the key moment of the night senator Kamala Harris, accepting the nomination at the partys Vice President ial nominee, joe will be a president who turns are challenges into purpose under direct pitch to voters still on the fence. The incompetence. Makes us feel afraid. The callousness makes us feel alone. Its a lot. And heres the thing. We can do better. And deserve so much more. Vice president mike pence was out wednesday campaigning, President Donald Trump took to twitter and all caps after he heard the speech from former president barack obama and wilmington delaware, im nadia romero. Well bring it back to the bay area this morning, San Francisco county may be removed from the States Coronavirus watch list as soon as today. This will allow businesses such as a hair salons and gyms to reopen San Francisco would join santa cruz placer and san diego counties which were taken off the watch list just last week, San Francisco was added to the list back in mid july. Now if San Francisco county is removed from the list there are another 39 of the states 58 counties that remain on ehe watch list that includes 9 in the bay area to be removed from the list counties each threshold for their 14 day average case rate per 100,000 residents. Also 7 day average rate of positive tests a percentage change in hospitalizations and the availability of ventilators and intensive care unit beds. Well flannel state prison officials tell us that they will not evacuate inmates due to the fires in vacaville, they tell us that quote we are actively monitoring the lightning complex fire situation in vacaville. What are not being directed to evacuate and the institutions are not in immediate danger to protect staff and copper carson rated persons from port air quality all have been provided n 95 mask at both institutions in quote. Well check this out we have more video coming into our newsroom. A viewer captured the moment when flames spread across interstate 80 and Solano County jumped right over the highway traffic was backed up for miles. All 10 lanes were shut down for nearly 5 hours as folks are heading for work and starting to evacuate the area. This of course is a major interstate for us here in the bay area right runs across the county there and a lot of folks are living in fairfield and vacaville and trying to get out when the fire jumped the freeway keep in mind that 80 is back open this morning they open it up last night if agree closes for any reason will definitely let you know and pass it on. And were also getting a look at just how dangerous these fires can be check out this this is more video this is actually a pg e web camera. And it captured one of the many fires burning in napa county you can see the flames right there it starts off in the distance with just quickly closing in the closes in and it just covers the entire camera now eventually just takes over the whole thing and that camera by the way was station at mount vaca. Lets get another check on the weather we know that we have a spare the air alert in place today dave mentioned a red flag warning thats also in place so hes standing by with an update now safe. Ok good morning our robin good morning, everybody a Solano County is the county were watching now for additional problems to happen until 9 this morning because some leftover offshore winds of course and not elsewhere. We dont see that going on, but we already have the problems that are already in place so now the hope is well get some of that marine layer coming in here complements is little front up to our north in the waning High Pressure that will help kind of dampen the atmosphere bringing that marine layer just a touch. Theres the shot from a u c berkeley we can see the haze and a little bit of that marine layer sneaking in 60s cover good chunk of the east bay 71 for antioch 50s up here the north bay was 62, san jose 50s cover much of the peninsula breaking your day down 71 or so expected by 09 00am of course theyll be some of that smoky haze by high noon 85. High temperatures today, not quite as lofty as they have been from earlier in the week well take a break today and into tomorrow with a little bit of recovery into the weekend. Marty back to you all right dave, thanks a lot. Well take a short break, but first we want to show you a camera looking live at vacaville right now you can see the hazy skies. Just over the city there and coming up were going to be talking to the fire chief in vacaville to get an update on just how the fire fights going th good morning, welcome back we continue to follow that breaking news of fires burning across the bay area today. And all of these wildfires are happening right in the middle of a blistering heat wave, its been so hot here in the bay area you can see here on the map the areas where the fires are still burning now theres the l in new lightning complex fires, burning in sonoma lake napa and solano counties, the woodward fire is burning near Point Reyes National seashore theyre in their state s c you complex fire which consist of several fires that are burning in contra costa Alameda Santa clara status, la and san joaquin counties. And we want to get an update on the fires that are burning in the north and joining us by phone now in vacaville is vacaville fire. Chief Kris Concepcion chris good morning. Good morning doing okay, i want to ask how youre doing and more importantly what what is the situation this morning with the fire. The good news overnight a fire son itself out. So firefighters hooper im able to keep it from from the homes gain some advantage to share a in the city. And how long youve been on the job in vacaville. Ive been in a vacaville for 5 years, but ah ah close to 30 years in the fire service have you ever seen a situation that you had yesterday last night where the fire jumps 10 lanes of freeway. I i actually have really on a Southern California but our Northern California i had ever see it like that that was that quite a me you dont expect to do that to do that but jump that many lanes of freeway we we werent expecting we we thought there was a possibility so we were a year he has had that. And were for that contingency just happened to be not you dont necessarily expect it. And because its so hot and so dry and humid out there. How people are wondering you know we know you guys are doing the best you can but how do you fight fires like this whats your strategy under such extreme heat. Yet make sure that the firefighters getting some rest. Although i mean its its kind of now with what are you all of fires that are going on. But uh know you just hope and pray the weather turns in favor. Under the critical factors that always in war has working against us last yea thats the temperatures low humidities and and then you get the winds kicking up the afternoon. Last night it seem like a 55 is up a town hall that firefighters will get you a little bit of that that we shared it at least here in the city i cant speak for the rest of the area right chris are you anticipating any more evacuations today. We were able to so last last night we were able to lift some evacuations some in the south part of the city so that that was good and we still have a evacuations continuing on side of the city and the Browns Valley area and we realize how much of a journey that is for our residents and we dont arrest insurrection it back to their homes. So we are monitoring the weather, im very carefully monitoring the fire like theyre a very closely. And try to make a decision as quickly as to get our resident spec in the hopes that we want to do so safely. And just one more quick question i have heard of reports of some firefighters working double shifts, you know staying out there for many many hours i just want to talk about the resources, i know that your resources are stretched thin because you have so many fires a large area thats covered, you know are you guys pulling in resources from other states are you getting any help right now. Thats what were working as part of the cow a cal fire incident command so were just a small part of that large incident that you use crack the yelling new lightning complex. So mutual aid in california is one of the best in the country. So there are fire resources from all over the i dont know if there are any im bummed out of the state in the local area right now but i know that that happened asked and i know we actually used to be a vacuum weve actually had researched by the california right now we actually have a im in a further north though weve weve got resources all of the state while were fighting on fire, im here at home. Well chris thank you so much for spending some time was going to be another busy day for you and give us an for our viewers on whats going on in the vacaville area we wish you well today. Absolutely thank you all right chris thats Kris Concepcion is the vacaville fire chief want to continue now with our Team Coverage on the l and you lightning complex fire. Those fires are impacting people who are living in the north bay in Sonoma County. Kron 4 Sarah Stinson live with the latest on the large walbridge fire sarah. Marty im live in guerneville right at the Fire Department learning about what has happened overnight and what has happened since i was reporting here live. Since yesterday morning. Let me tell you you cant get into guerneville they have blocked it off saying it is unsafe for residents because fire is still threatening this community, but fortunately right now temperatures are low about 55 here in greenville and its not going to stay that way for long they expect the temperatures to get up into the high 90s are bracing for that the firefighters tell me take a look at looking at the video from yesterday when i was reporting the win was call in the morning yesterday, if you recall saying that as expected the wind picked back up around 00 03pm in the afternoon in the fire began raging yet again. Cal fire crews say the flames were raging hard until about 6 at night when it started to calm down a little bit the fire in this area near guerneville and west of healdsburg has burned about 20,000 acres says a firefighter here in guerneville its still 0 contained now theyre waiting for the sun to rise to see how much damage has been done overnight in make a plan of attack for the day as we know this terrain is very steep. Its difficult to get into office Sweetwater Springs road near the Armstrong Redwoods State National reserve that is where i was live yesterday. The goal is to continue to fight this fire and stop it from spreading down into the communities were talking down into guerneville and then back on the other side into healdsburg and santa rosa, you know stopping it from spreading. Its a very very dense area. So thats what makes it so difficult of firefighter here kernsville Fire Department told me hes not sure if they ended up using air drops yesterday obviously use resources are limited. They heard it from above that and im not sure if he actually dropped anything ill be live this morning to show you what is going on and bring you the latest once the sun comes up all be able to show you a lot more as well minute drive up there like i did yesterday for now, im live in guerneville Sarah Stinson kron 4 news all right sarah well look forward to your reports throughout the morning, thanks a lot. And now we want to go to the c z you lightning complex fire thats burning and send the tail and santa cruz counties check out the map on your screen. The shows you exactly where that fire is burning this morning you can see that little outlined the outline of red of the fire thats burning right along highway one and highway 9 in Boulder Creek. Kron fours reyna harvey is live at the Cal Fire Command Center thats a Scotts Valley she has the latest for us this morning, and marty robin good morning. We are about 3 miles south east of where those active flames are this fire has really exploded in size and i want to zoom in and show you right behind me you just had agencies from across the bay area. Police officers arrived to help with the evacuation efforts. They have several communities here that they still have to make sure get out and stay safe now again right now currently this fire is 0 can budget percent contained. They dont have a containment on it were going to show you some of that video from overnight how that fire. Just exploded here you can see this. Now we know 22,000 families that have to leave their homes, we know and the areas of loma more. Dearborn park in pescadero creek. We also spoke to several families who had to be evacuated. Take a listen. I would say im worried im certainly worried. That that its going to get down here in the valley which candidate hits the value. Mark says everybody and all the houses are gone for sure. But i dont think thats going happen. I think the firefighters are doing their job theyre going to contain it. And its out of prudence that are getting everybody out of here before the fire gets down here. So theres not a mass exodus that actually causes a bigger problem. All right now we have a full list of evacuations on our website at kron 4 and theyre getting ready to update us in about 20 minutes here. It was those new numbers for the morning for now reporting here in Scotts Valley reyna harvey kron 4 news all right well check back with you and get those new numbers a little bit later thank you reena. Well now we want to go to the l a new complex fire. This map shows the area that has burned so far as outlined in red, you can see that has crept up into parts of vacaville and has moved towards fairfield evacuation orders are in place for parts of both of those cities. Lets check in with kron fours will tran who has the latest from vacaville this morning will. Im on cherry glen road overpass just off of i 80 and you can see traffic is moving along right now albeit some lanes are shut down look at the center of your screen. They have cones the shutdown that number one lane of eastbound 80 towards sacramento. Often the distance you might be able to see some flashing lights. Those are firefighters keeping a close eye on the situation there is that thick blanket of smoke that sits on top of this area. Breathing is terrible. It is windy and look at that still patches of flames on both sides of i 80 that actually yesterday for hours shut down both directions because it was simply too dangerous. 4 cars to drive by. We are about 4 miles from Pleasant Valley road where that neighborhood just went up in flames in the overnight hours we do know that at least 50 homes have been destroyed. Thousands of homes are still and the path of the fire and the fire still burns out of control this morning. We are not hearing of any residents being killed by the fire as many of them actually stayed up in the overnight hours to watch the fire and if they did not get the knock at the door, many of them left on their own so we will move to the neighborhood a little bit later this morning but i wanted to let you know that i 80 in both directions at least for now open to the public. Back to you. Well good morning robin good morning, everybody we have upstream here a little front thats not going make it completely down here but the effects will be felt as this high weakens which means a little bit that marine layer start to sneak back in here what those onshore winds cooling us down adding more humidity and recoveries for tomorrow morning then were seeing today but still for this morning Solano County is under still that red flag warning because the winds are still a bit on the dry side and that remains a threat for any new problems to develop 60s in the east bay for now 71 covers antioch 50s up to the north bay at least for now 62 san jose and 50s back towards the peninsula. But the comparison is actually pretty nice were a half a dozen degrees behind were we were from this time yesterday and we have a little bit more in the way of humidity. Randall moisture thrown our way breaking our day down of course pencil in here some haze to be had about 90 and were talking 7185 by high noon. Wednesday morning check it out there you can see it on the cause air Quality ManagementOfficials Say that the smoke and ash from dozens of fires burning throughout the bay area is actually getting trapped in the valleys and causing high levels of pollution. They say that most of facial coverings offer a false senseeof security in these unhealthy air quality conditions. So the mass of people ran for cover laws do anything for particulate matter theyre not me for that. 3 and then down a surgical masks cars will not stop the particulate pollution from getting into your lungs. Heidi yeah, good morning marty good morning, everybody ever so slightly were getting some of that marine layer coming back, and it looks like that trends going continue to finish off the week a little bit more of those onshore winds. Bay bridge toll plaza shot there you can see the cars lining up and off towards the distance, theres the haze smoke and a little bit of the marine layer coming back east bay shoreline, some blue as you can see being enlightened off towards the distance 60s cover most the east bay any ox that 71 still cool up in the north bay with 50s 62 for san jose 50s also cover the peninsula want to run through that moisture thing for you with the with you again this the humidity layers you can see the green get general idea here east bay shoreline peninsula. Not bad dries out during the day as we expected. And it drops off the levels of 30s and fluid 30s and maybe so upper 20s to remember the air is not going as hot. So therefore its a little bit less the where little bit more in the way of moisture its in the atmosphere to now as we go forward boom there you have it a nice recovery relatively speaking for tomorrow morning as we advance forward into our weekend. We can we might be interrupt a little bit on that. But this is what it looks like by saturday morning again darker greens cover the east bay up to the north bay and also the peninsula theres a look at your winds. The uptick happens after we get some daytime heating but also the trend from the frontal boundary to the north thats inviting in some of this marine layer and that high is starting to weekend one note though early next week this is a tropical moisture track in other words, the leftover moisture from this hurricane may play indoor weather again that timing would be on monday. Its in the sevenday to note that 73 San Francisco in the 4 zone forecast upper 60s cover the peninsula coast. Bayside were in 70s territory, 90s or goodbye to the south we replace them with 80s you can see even in the south bay to morgan hill 96 los gatos about 90 but everybody else, at least in the upper 80s getting some 70s here in the east bay shoreline tri valley lower 90s 94 for walnut creek 77 meanwhile, berkeley. So our county will be baking with near 188 for napa 94 santa rosa and along the coast point re checking in at 71 years were talking about some of that tropical stop on monday. Question mark it be nice, we dis to get some rain out of that would be nice. Robin and sure with think today. Well 3 wildfires are burning in Monterey County forcing thousands of people to evacuate.
