Commissioner Charles Ramsay says the turnout means a lot to police and officer wilsons family. It means a lot to the family and thats really what matters right now. Just the family being able to know that he made a difference and i think that when they look back on this theyll really come to realize just how important he was to the city and to his depth. It was a moving procession as they stood in formation this was earlier this afternoon. Many could be heard saying it is such a sad time for our community. Most didnt know the officer but say he died to save the lives of so many others who were in that store the day he was killed.
