For the first three varsity seasons of the Capital City football program, the Cavaliers were forced to play at a home away from home. On Saturday, they got the first chance to show fans their new digs.

The Cavaliers scored every time they touched the ball in the second half to lead to 28 unanswered points in a 28-7 Central Missouri Activities Conference win Friday night against the Jefferson City Jays at Adkins Stadium.
The Jays went into halftime up 7-0, then the Cavaliers got moving.

Coach Joe Collier is entering his second season with a new offensive strategy based on attacking and running the ball, while he said he wants his defense to just line up and go.
