Walter A. Harris was stopped around 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of Goldsborough Way and Chosin Few Way in Bayonne, N.J., said police.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. This was one quick trip over the bridge to Bayonne that a Port Richmond felon probably wishes he had skipped.
Walter Harris, 34, of New Street, was arrested Wednesday night after cops found over 1.5 pounds of pot in his car, said Bayonne police.
Harris was busted during a car stop around 8:45 p.m. near Goldsborough Drive and Chosin Few Way, police said.
Woman accused of knocking down cop with Jeep pleads to assault

Alexandra Goode allegedly rolled up the window of her Jeep on the officer s arm and pulled away, knocking him to the ground. The incident occurred on South Avenue and Wemple Street in Mariners Harbor on Sept. 18, 2019, police said.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A Mariners Harbor woman has pleaded guilty to felony assault for an incident 16 months ago in which cops said she knocked down an officer with her Jeep and injured him during a traffic stop in her community.
Alexandra Goode, 25, was behind the wheel of the 2016 vehicle when the events unfolded at around 12:13 a.m. on Sept. 18, 2019, said police.
Man, 25, arraigned in fatal shooting at New Brighton memorial

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A 25-year-old man was arraigned Tuesday in the fatal shooting of Cedric Black at a memorial site in New Brighton.
Tyler Carmon, of Manor Road in Castleton Corners, was arraigned in Criminal Court in St. George on charges that include murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
He has been remanded to jail.
Black, 34, was attending a memorial gathering on Jersey Street near Crescent Avenue on Sept. 15 in honor of a 21-year-old man in the neighborhood who suffered the same fate a day earlier.
