At 9pm on December 26 last year, police patrolling Larsen Street, West Gladstone, intercepted a vehicle for a roadside breath test.
Roberts was a passenger at the time and after a brief conversation, a search was executed on the car and its passengers.
Police found two MDMA tablets hidden in one of Roberts’ pockets and Mr Spargo detailed the defendant’s drug history.
“With that type of drug and his drug history, he was well aware of the repercussions of possessing the dangerous drug,” Mr Spargo said.
Solicitor Rio Ramos said her client had been “off the drugs” and was not addicted.
After a short interrogation, police searched the vehicle and found a container which had less than one gram of cannabis in it. Hill was issued his rights and cautions but he was heavily intoxicated and unable to be questioned regarding the items. Police attended Hill s address at a later date for questioning and he made full admissions of being in possession of the drugs. Solicitor Rio Ramos said her client had been smoking cannabis for nine years and she asked that Acting Magistrate John Milburn acknowledge the small amount of drugs involved. Mr Milburn fined Hill $400 and no conviction was recorded.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â In just his first few hours in office, President Joe Biden has already signed several immigration executive orders as president. His plan for immigration reform culminates in a bill headed to Congress which includes a path to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants and provides aid to Central America. But it could also have economic repercussions here in Nashville.
Ms Ramos said Collins was not addicted to the drug and only used it for recreation.
She asked the court not to record a conviction as Collins had plans to commence study and go into social work.
Collins was fined $500 and spared a conviction.

Police conducted a search at Kimberley Louise Hausler’s Gladstone address on December 2 where she declared there was a bong in her bedroom.
Officers found marijuana mixed with tobacco which weighted 1.1g, a glass water pipe with burnt residue which smelt of marijuana and a nutribullet blender with marijuana residue.
Hausler failed to provide identifying particulars as required within seven days and said she couldn’t attend because her children were sick but admitted someone could have taken care of them.
