Officials say its now been secured. Engineers have been assessing the situation, and crews are at work right now, trying to stabilize the problem. All buildings have opened except for tahama between 1st and 2nd. City Officials Say theres no danger that the concrete pumping structure will fall, but there is still work to be done. Under the night sky crews spent hours shoring up the platform thats holding up the concrete pumping structure thats leaning. They received a call at 2 45, from construction workers pouring concrete on the roof. They reported that the platform had failed, causing the concrete structure to lean. They dont expect the creek to flood, again. But after last weeks miscalculations, the Water District has hired a prominent Crisis Management specialist who now speaks for the Water District. We dont think that there is any concern right at the moment, but given that there has just been a flood and so many people have been devastated and affected by it, we are keeping an extra eye on it this weekend. We had around 8 30 tonight. It was that particular cell that dropped quite a bit of hail down on 280 where Christie Smith is reporting live from in a few minutes. What we are seeing the widely scattered showers and sleet near mt. Tam in the north bay. The futurecast starting at 3 00 a. M. Right at the start of the morning commute. The areas in yellow and orange and the heavier showers crossing over the bay area will bring a chance of hail and snowfall down to 2,000 feet.
