It is about to be loaded up and taken away. So for the time being, one lane of traffic northbound on highway 17 is open. The rest of the lanes are still closed. We have heard reports of drivers going through the where they are not supposed to. Be aware if you do that you put yourself in danger and Law Enforcement in danger and because the freeway is closed because they are trying to clear the scene. This all happened around 3 15, 3 30 this morning. But, again, one more instance of somebody getting on to the freeway going in the wrong direction. We dont know why. At this point chp telling us they dont believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor. So we dont know, again, where this driver got on in the wrong direction in the first place. We will let you know.
