Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], January 31 (ANI): The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Administrator Gaurav Gupta and Commissioner Manjunatha Prasad jointly flagged off the campaign against leprosy, under BBMP limits, called The final fight against leprosy , today.
The campaign, launched to commemorate the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by the BBMP, is being held from January 30 to February 13, said Prasad.
Speaking after attending an event to observe Sarvodaya Day, he said the leprosy eradication programme has been implemented since 2016-17. There are 198 wards, 141 health centers, five public hospitals, six medical colleges/hospitals, and two NGOs working under the BBMP limits.

Bengaluru: Six sites will launch Covid vaccine drive in the city. 1.05 lakh Covishield vaccine doses have been stored in Dasappa Hospital and would be provided to health workers from six sites in the city to start with.
The sites which would begin providing the vaccine are: KC General and Victoria Hospital, CV Raman and Jayanagar General Hospital, St. John’s Medical College and Mallasandra Primary Health Centre. The vaccine would be given to 100 people in each centre on that day and all those who are getting the first shot would be informed via SMS or phone call.

New Delhi, Dec 27: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday hit back at Shiv Sena for its editorial piece in its mouthpiece Saamna in which it alleged that the relations between the Centre and States are worsening.
BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told ANI, Shiv Sena is speaking like Muslim League. They are in coalition with Congress and I think they are getting impacted by the ideology of Congress party and tukde tukde gang .
Hussain said that Shiv Sena cannot even run Maharastra and they are using this kind of language. It is not acceptable.
