New Delhi:Â After BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra’s May 18 tweet on the alleged “toolkit” was tagged as “manipulated media” by Twitter, BJP national vice president and former Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh’s tweet on the same has also been labelled in a similar manner by the microblogging site.
It is not known exactly when Singh’s May 18 tweet was given the dubious label, as many Twitter users only began pointing out the same on Tuesday, May 25. The development assumes significance as on Monday, the Delhi Police had raided Twitter offices in Delhi and Gurgaon over tagging Patra’s tweet as “manipulated media”.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Monday said that it has sent notice to Twitter in connection with a probe over manipulated media tag used with some of the posts on an alleged Congress toolkit against Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government.
The Delhi Police Special Cell has asked
Twitter to share the information that it has with regard to the alleged toolkit and explain why it used the manipulated media tag.
