Reporter the president called House Speaker john boehner tuesday morning, reiterating, hes willing to talk about the budget after Congress Passes bills to fund the government and increase the debt limit. Without any conditions. Members of congress and the House Republicans in particular dont get to demand ransom in exchange for doing their jobs. Reporter Speaker Boehner said he does not have the votes to pass a clean, temporary spending bill or raise the debt limit. He wants the president to sit down and negotiate.
