georgia. and so if you have a scenario where johnson hung on, where republicans won nevada, and where georgia went to a runoff, then we would be in a situation where senate control would come down to the georgia runoff, and we would have no answered into the second stretch. imagine that. waiting for georgia. alaska, you are not worried about. that s not a thing that is going to change control of the senate? the issue is, it s two republicans. you are starting to see the numbers come in. there and kelly tshibaka and lisa murkowski you can see right away that it s two republicans gobbling up almost 90%. let me ask you about wisconsin. we are still waiting on that. we have a lot of county in wisconsin. but is milwaukee all in? it s not all in, no. you can see about 80%. what we got from milwaukee, though, was usually at the very end of the night or close to the absentee, the mail vote, it comes in. and then we have got that a little while ago. and if barnes win, it s
margins like that and so if you keep getting that s 8000 votes? it s 1000 votes there. so, if you had a couple hundred or a couple dozen even in a close race, it matters, which is why this is a state. you can look at things and you could have trans, the campaign headquarters, they re going to pretend by friesen can you look at the race this close without much left to count, you just this is why you brukovskiy. only won the state by under 12,000 votes in 2020. david chalian, you have some more information at the battleground desk about where the outstanding vote is. yeah, or the kind of vote that is outstanding, and it gets to the margin issue as well, that john which is talking about. so, again, we break it down, mail vote and early in person vote and election day vote. i want to note something here. so, let me bring in the uncounted vote. among the uncounted about a quarter of the male vote is still out and that is a 36.5 advantage carer so that is significant beca
we ll look at florida early. at 7:00 the polls will close in georgia as well. georgia is going to allow this time the precounting, the pretabulation of mail-in and early votes before polls close, as long as the ballots are in a separated area, it has the potential, the significance of that, in terms of watching results come in, you could get a lot of votes released very early in georgia. could be a lot of mail vote, a lot of early vote that s released early in the night in georgia. you could see the democrats jump out to a significant early lead in georgia. similar to north carolina and ohio.
than we saw in 2020 for a couple of reasons in a couple of key states to keep in mind. mail voting, while much more prevalent in 2022 than it was in previous midterms i don t think is going to be as prevalent as it was in 2020, and it s what really slowed down some of the counts in places like pennsylvania last time around. i think there s going to be a little bit more efficiency at counting the votes. there may be a stark divide between the early and the same day vote, and there s also been procedural changes. the way i see the night playing out. first of all, as you mentioned, florida is probably the most efficient big state at counting its vote. 30 minutes of poll closing time, every county reports a combination of its early and mail vote. the early vote in florida isn t that democratic. it s just the mail vote. the combo is 2/3 of the vote in every county. it s going to be more democratic than the same day vote. you ll see in the first 30 minutes in every big county in florida, we
are in the top four, here there are only three candidates, one dropped out, and they are now going to have to wait until august 31st. not only do we have to get all that mail vote in and we will see where the initial preference lands but on august 31st the computations will be done and if nobody has a majority, okay, who is your second choice, this he do a computation, the person at the bottom drops out and they do it until somebody has a majority of the vote. if you are trying to figure out what happens in the next 15 days and what matters most you might be looking at the bottom two, who is going to be the one lopped off in 15 days. there s so much vote out there it s not clear at all. so it s not impossible that sarah palin is lobbed off, it s not impossible that the democrat at this point is lopped off, too. and there may be enough split between the republicans. thank you very much. let s talk more about liz cheney s loss and the future of the party. joining knee now cnn rep
