BENGALURU: The Karnataka government on Sunday has decided to impose a night curfew for 10 days starting from December 28, between 10 pm to 5 am. This decision was taken after a high-level meeting of senior Ministers, officials, and the COVID technical advisory committee was convened by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

New Delhi: The Maharashtra government on Thursday (April 29) extended its COVID-19 induced lockdown-like restrictions till May 15.

The order issued by chief secretary Sitaram Kunte said this decision was taken as the state continued to be threatened with the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, it is “imperative to continue the emergency measures” in order to stem the transmission of the deadly coronavirus, he added.
