The win improves the Buckeyes to 9-1 on the season and 5-1 in the Big Ten. This is the first time since late February in 2006 that Ohio State has won back-to-back games against Top 15 teams. The deaths included a Macoupin County woman in her 90s and four Madison County women, three in their 80s and one in her 90s. The IDPH also reported 6,642 new confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases on Friday for a total to date of 1,059,324 cases, including 18,049 deaths. Late Thursday the Madison County Health Department reported three new COVID-19 related deaths one woman in her 80s and two women in their 90s to take the county’s virus death toll to 399.
