Carter Gorling threw seven strong innings for the Renegades, but the Joplin Outlaws hit a game-tying home run in the bottom of the ninth inning and outlasted Jefferson City for a 5-4 victory in 13 innings in MINK League action at Joe Becker Stadium.

The Jefferson City Renegades picked up two much-needed wins Wednesday night, ending a six-game losing streak by sweeping the Nevada Griffons in a MINK League seven-inning doubleheader at Vivion Field. TJ Racherbaumer was the hero for the Renegades in Game 1 after hitting a three-run walk-off home run over the right-field fence to give Jefferson City the 5-2 victory.
